Peter Hewlett & Richie Haven - Only You (1984)

Only You (1984)

Richie Haven & Peter Hewlett

Starlight Sequence (I Am The Starlight) - Andrew Lloyd  Webber

Starlight Sequence (I Am The Starlight) - Andrew Lloyd Webber Lyrics Richie Havens and Peter Hewlett's Version
The "Starlight Sequence" is a showstopper from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express. It is performed by Rusty, a young, naive Steam Locomotive and the Starlight Express, a magical Steam Locomotive that comes at midnight to help Steam Locomotioves in need. Rusty, who wants to compete in the world championship railway races, has lost self belief because Greaseball and Electra have been taunting him, and his coach, Pearl has dumped him for faster locomotives. In this number, the Starlight Express, sent by Rusty's father, Poppa, has come to tell Rusty that true power comes from within

MARY'S BOY CHILD

Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ

Was born on Christmas Day.

And man will live for evermore

Because of Christmas Day.

Long time ago in Bethlehem

So the Holy Bible say

Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ

Was born on Christmas Day.

Hark now hear the angels sing

A king was born today

And man will live for evermore

Because of Christmas Day.

While shepherds watched their flock by
night,

They saw a bright new shining star

they hear a choir sing song

The music seemed to come from afar.

Hark, now hear the angels sing,

A king was born today,

And man will live for evermore,

Because of Christmas Day.

Joseph and his wife, Mary,

Came to Bethlehem that night,

They found no place to bear her child,

Not a single room was in sight.

Hark now hear the angels sing,

A king was born today,

And man will live for evermore

Because of Christmas Day

By and by they find a little nook

In a stable all forlorn,

And in a manger cold and dark,

Mary's little boy was born.

Hark, now hear the angels sing,

A king was born today,

And man will live for evermore,

Because of Christmas Day.
